Shutdown Events was set up in 2014 in Burnley, UK. This brand came as a sequel to the success Chris Sarchet Bell and his team had achieved with their adult events company, Grenade.

“We chose to attempt to handle the more youthful market to have the option to get revenue from a youthful crowd,” Chris says. “At that point, when they grew up, we would have the option to hand them off to our older age group focused brand, Grenade.”

In next to no time, Shutdown Events gained wide acclaim in Burnley, even drawing in customers from out of the town and further.

“With every occasion, an ever-increasing number of individuals were discussing us. Within a half year, we expanded into a subsequent territory and by month 8, we were in another 4 urban communities.”

It was at this stage the Shutdown group acknowledged they had made something exceptional.

Inside the initial 2 years, Shutdown turned into the UK’s biggest driving U18 brand. Presently, Chris and his group travel the country every two or three months, organizing occasions from Scotland to as far down as Newquay. Shutdown has now hosted events across 10+ urban communities from one side of the country to the other.

“We unite probably the greatest names in the music business, originally we’d bring PA’s from the absolute most famous reality television shows, paint and foam parties, Co2 and confetti parties. But now it’s all about bringing those acts you never thought you’d see, wild theme venue transformations and huge production with fire, pyros and laser shows. Our online media is continually developing. We continue to get demands from an ever-increasing number of customers requesting that we go to a town/city close to them.”

However, like every other good thing, Shutdown’s success did not come easy. All the achievement this extraordinary brand has witnessed is the consequence of steady exertion and constant perseverance.

“We are on a mission to educate kids that they can have a good time without alcohol. Our biggest threat as a business are issues that might arise and happen on the night which would stop our events from happening all together. This is why we run such a tight ship and airport-like security on entry.

“ I never surrender,” Chris shares. “It cost me 4 years before I earnt a penny. Regardless of what obstacles have been tossed at me throughout the most recent 6 years, I always get back up and continue onward. My determination is by and large why I am in the place where I am today.”

Chris has huge plans and a yearning vision for the future and development of Shutdown Events.

“Accomplishment to me is brand acknowledgement, hearing incredible input, having the option to care for my family,” Chris says.

“ Now like never before, the music, live occasions and shows scene is greater and more popular than any other time in recent memory, particularly with the more youthful age. We offer the “evening of your life” for 14-17-year-olds before they are legitimately permitted to go out to occasions. Over the course of the next years, we plan to host events across 15 cities across the country.”
